Math
XtraMath: I would like all Addison students to be very fluent with math facts before you move on to middle school. You will use XtraMath each day to get fluent in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts. Please work on this diligently for 15 minutes each day.
Zearn: Continue working on Zearn lessons assigned. Remember that when you finish one power of tower, you have finished one lesson. Videos (math chat/learning lab) are optional. Each lesson takes around 20 minutes. You are expected to finish all 3 lessons by the end of today. Quiz tomorrow.
I had 79 students successfully solve Abracadabra Coronus. Would like 100% participation in this one!

Reading We are going to continue our novel study with Number the Stars. I am aware that each class was at a different point in the book, but I would like everyone to read chapters 11 and 12 today for a refresh. The links to each chapter are below. Please write down a short summary after each chapter that you can keep to study.
Chapter 10 refresh: Everyone is gathered at Uncle Henrik's house for the 'funeral.' The Nazi soldiers show up to the house to see why there are so many people gathered there. The soldiers want to open the casket, but Mama says that their Aunt Birtie died of Typhus and does not know if the disease can still spread. The Nazi soldier slaps Mama in the face and storms out. Once the soldiers leave and it is safe, Peter walks over to the casket to open it.
