Missing assignment update

Good afternoon families,
After hearing feedback from parents, we are making a change on how you are updated about your student’s missing assignments. You will now be able to see which assignments are missing, if any, through ParentVueYou will see all assignments for each class when you login, and if the notes section is blank, then that means your child has completed the assignment. If we are missing the assignment, then it will be marked ‘missing.’
We will not be sending out weekly emails about those missing assignments anymore starting today. Once your child has completed a missing assignment, please email your homeroom teacher so they can double check and mark it as complete. This will help us better manage our time and make sure we mark off assignments as they are completed. We will not be entering the actual grades according to county guidelines. Below you will see the steps to log into ParentVue if needed. Please reach out with any questions!
Steps:
  1. 1. Go to https://parentvue.cobbk12.org/  or download the ParentVue app
  1. 2. If you know your ParentVue login, click “I am a parent” and login. If you do not know this, you may have your student log in to see the same information by clicking “I am a student” and logging in
  1. 3. Once you are logged in, click gradebook on the left of the screen
  1. 4. Click on one subject at a time to see the list of assignments.
  1. 5. Once you have clicked a subject, look to the far right of the screen and if the assignment is missing, it will say “missing” in the notes column
  1. 6. If you do not see any “missing” marks in the notes columnthen your student isn’t missing any assignments for that particular subject
  1. 7. Make sure to click on each subject

Example of what you will see if your student is missing anything:

Thank you,
