Updated ETA
We are now on the other side of Atlanta. Our ETA is 3:20 to 3:25. I will update again when we are exiting I75.
ETA from Rock Eagle
We are pulling out of Rock Eagle now. Our ETA to Addison is 3:10. I will update in about an our if that changes. Please do NOT park in the bus port when picking up your students!
We walked over 56 thousand steps the last 3 days so don't be alarmed if your child is tired and sleeps all day tomorrow! Every step was worth it and we had a blast!!!

Rock Eagle weather
It looks like we are going to have great weather for Rock Eagle! Please make sure your student brings a big jacket, gloves, and a hat for the cold nights. Our activities will go through 9pm each night. Shorts are not needed for this trip. Please label everything with your child's name.
Just a reminder, there are no electronics allowed on the trip. We have heard through the grapevine that some students are planning on bringing them. Please check your child's bag the morning of to make sure they haven't packed an electronic device.

Holiday Shoppe Donations
Hello 5th Grade Class,
The Holiday Shoppe Committee is busy putting together a wonderful event for our children on December 7th. In addition to the Holiday Shoppe, this year they are having a raffle for parents with some wonderful gift baskets and other goodies, a craft/vendor fair, entertainment, breakfast and some fun activities for the kids.
The Committee is asking for each grade level to put together two themed baskets for the raffle. All the money made from this event will go towards doing many wonderful things for our children and our school.
RIVAS AND JAGANNATHAN HOMEROOM: This year our theme for our two classes is gift cards (the other two 5th grade classes have a different theme). We are asking for donations of any type of gift card in an amount of your choice. Please write the amount on the gift card, and send all of these items in to your teacher by Monday, December 2nd so that the other room moms and I can get the baskets completed by our deadline. Please remember that the baskets must not contain perishables or alcohol of any kind (Liquor store gift cards are fine). I/we really appreciate your support and look forward to seeing all of you at this year’s Addison Holiday Shoppe. Please contact Kim Campbell (kimncampbell30@gmail.com) with any questions.
Thanks,
Mrs. Rivas and Mrs. Jagannathan's Room Parents
BARKLEY AND HOWLAND HOMEROOM: This year our theme is Good Morning Breakfast Basket. We are asking for donations of breakfast items (waffle/pancake mixes, muffin mixes, syrup, jams/jellies, cereals, cereal bars) . Please send all of these items in by November 20th so that the other room moms and I can get the baskets completed by December 3rd. Please remember that the baskets must not contain perishables or alcohol of any kind (Liquor store gift cards are fine). I really appreciate your support and look forward to seeing all of you at this year’s Addison Holiday Shoppe.
